Casting Judges to Be Announced at “When Design Heals” — October 24 at Congdon Yards

HIGH POINT, N.C. — October 17, 2025 — Schacht in the Dark, LLC is bringing the spotlight home with Go Natural Living, a new TV design competition where sustainability meets style and creativity powers real transformation. Filmed in High Point, North Carolina—long hailed as the world’s home for design and furnishings—the series celebrates the city’s extraordinary local makers, materials, and innovation as it redefines what healthy, inspired living can look like.

The public will get an exclusive first look and the chance to meet the casting judges at When Design Heals, a full-day event presented by Science in Design® and supported by High Point by Design (HPXD), taking place October 24 at Congdon Yards. Attendees will get a sneak peek at the show’s concept, meet local designers and artisans, and experience how Go Natural Living is turning design into a force for wellness and community impact.

“This series is about more than design—it’s about creative impact,” said Giuli Schacht, Executive Producer and Founder of Go Natural Living. “High Point built America’s design legacy. Now it’s showing the world how creativity, sustainability, and community can work together to shape what’s next.”

Each season of Go Natural Living challenges designers to transform real homes through biophilic design—design inspired by nature that enhances health, comfort, and connection to the environment. Every challenge highlights High Point’s local resources, from its skilled artisans and sustainable manufacturers to its deep creative talent pool. Homeowners set the budget, keeping each project grounded and real. Adding to the excitement, each episode will feature a guest expert in biophilia or sustainability joining the judges’ panel—renowned leaders whose participation will be announced later. The winning designer earns an advance toward designing a full renovation.
