Design Meets Innovation: Hinuera Properties and The Sage Plant Launch Modern Townhome Project in Greensboro

At Go Natural, we’re proud to highlight developments that move the needle on sustainability, innovation, and style. That’s exactly what’s happening in Greensboro, North Carolina, where two powerhouse forces in real estate—Hinuera Properties and The Sage Plant—have joined together to bring modern, resilient housing to the heart of the Piedmont Triad.

Led by Kata Walters, known as @themodel.investor, Hinuera Properties has gained a reputation for fusing aesthetic brilliance with functional design. Kata’s latest partnership with The Sage Plant introduces ten modern townhomes, built in two five-unit structures, that blend luxury living with sustainable construction.

The townhomes will be constructed using Emmedue technology, an advanced Italian building system introduced to the U.S. by The Sage Plant. Emmedue’s lightweight panels—made of polystyrene and steel mesh—are durable, energy-efficient, and significantly faster to build than traditional materials. It’s a win for both the environment and future homeowners.

“I’ve always believed real estate should reflect beauty, resilience, and vision,” said Walters. “With The Sage Plant, we’re not just building homes—we’re building a future rooted in smart, sustainable choices.”

Located in Greensboro, a city buzzing with creative and cultural momentum, this project symbolizes what’s possible when bold design meets purposeful innovation. Every inch of these townhomes has been curated to reflect high standards in both form and function.

The Sage Plant’s CEO, Alex Dummit, echoed her excitement: “Kata’s vision aligns beautifully with our mission. Together, we’re proving that modern construction can be faster, greener, and still deliver elegance at every turn.”

This development is just one of several that The Sage Plant is bringing to the region—including their community hub at 319 Ennis Street in High Point—as they continue to drive the Piedmont Triad forward as a leader in climate-forward, people-first construction.
